schrand.energy presents self-sufficient energy storage system as part of HYDROGEN WEEK

As part of the nationwide HYDROGEN WEEK, schrand.energy GmbH & Co. KG from Essen (Oldenburg) opened its doors on June 25 for a specialist event focused on sustainable hydrogen-based energy storage. The highlight of the day was the presentation of the company’s self-developed self-sufficient energy storage system, which was introduced to the public in small groups to encourage targeted questions and professional exchange.

The event was supported by well-known partners and system component suppliers: BOSCH Power Solutions impressively demonstrated the performance of its electrolyzer stack, Grünbeck AG presented modern water treatment solutions for the hydrogen production process, and Phoenix Contact showcased the installed electrical components and automation technology.

In addition to the technical exhibition, the day featured a varied program of company presentations, highlighting the practical applications and potential uses of the energy storage system — for example, in industry, commerce, agriculture, and residential construction. With pleasant weather, around 80 visitors — including customers, suppliers, and other interested parties — took advantage of the opportunity to network on the spacious terrace.

„The response was consistently positive. It’s clear how strong the interest is in innovative, sustainable energy systems and the decentralized use of hydrogen,“ said Managing Director Timo Schrand. Due to the great success, the company plans to offer regular facility tours in the future.
